Course Description

The objective of the HSE Level 3 training is to equip participants with advanced management and leadership skills for implementing, auditing, and improving HSE systems. This level focuses on supervision, compliance, sustainability, and the integration of international safety standards.

By law, HSE competence is essential for all employees in industry to ensure that workplace risks are recognized and managed effectively. In line with this statutory provision, the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) established an HSE training programme where independent external bodies train and certify personnel for the oil and gas industry.

This 3-level HSE training programme (Levels 1–3) is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of health and safety principles in the workplace. It covers the fundamentals, intermediate, and advanced aspects of HSE, ensuring compliance with statutory laws and industry best practices.

By the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the appropriate HSE knowledge and skills to function effectively as Safety Officers, supervisors, or managers within the oil, gas, and industrial sectors.
