Course Description
The First Aid at Work Course is a comprehensive training programme designed to provide participants with the skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace accidents, illnesses, and emergencies. Course Content
Principles of first aid and legal responsibilities of a workplace first aider
Primary survey: assessing danger, response, airway, breathing, and circulation (DRABC)
Secondary survey and casualty assessment
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
Recovery position and management of unconscious casualties
Control of severe bleeding and treatment of shock
Burns, scalds, and wound management
Fractures, sprains, dislocations, and spinal injuries
Managing workplace medical conditions (heart attack, stroke, asthma, epilepsy, choking, fainting, diabetes, etc.)
Workplace accident reporting and first aid kit management
Practical scenarios and role-play exercises
